Update on PRN#202 “Dorothy Anne”

Giving you the long overdue update on Miss. Dorothy Anne the better half of our senior couple.
Dorothy’s biopsy results came back benign!! Hallelujah!! Dorothy went in and had a lumpectomy and radical mastectomy (yes, they do that to dogs too). She had her teeth cleaned and only lost (1) tooth. She has recovered quite well but does have some nasty belly scars and residual scar tissue, which is to be expected from such an invasive surgical procedure.
Dorothy was able to attend our Pug-O-Ween event and enjoyed seeing and visiting with everyone and also spent some time with Pug Rescue Networks other senior in rescue “Bernie Sinclair”. We think their in love…Well at least they weren’t snarking at each other!!!
Our angels work so tirelessly fundraising to be able to take care of all of us. I just wanted to let you folks know, Dorothy’s surgical procedures were well over $900.00 alone just for her medical care!!! Dorothy is living life and loving it in our “Ava Sue 2 chance at life” Sanctuary Foster Home and wants to Thank everyone who has donated and helped our angels take care of all of us in rescue.
