This is Senior Head Anchor "Johnnie Be Good" reporting live from Pug Rescue Network
Headquarters with the announcement of a new arrival here at the "Senior Pug Pasture".
I'd like to welcome PRN#263 "Pumba"
HAKUNA MATATA!!! For those of you who have'nt seen the movie Lion King, that means
"no worries for the rest of your days" that's what I told my new friend when he
arrived!!
Pumba was surrendered to PRN because his Mom was moving because she lost her home
and did'nt
want to take him with....."Pumba" is a really super good boy who's very laid back
and just enjoys
laying on the couch. He gets along very well with everyone here at the Senior
Retirement Home.
"Pumba" has been seen by our wonderful PRN vets. He's had a Senior blood profile
done as well
as Heartworm testing, all his blood work came back great. He did have a bit of an
ear injection
in one of his ears but they've been cleaned and he's receiving medicated drops.
"Pumba" also
had his vaccinations updated and is due to go back in a couple of weeks for his last
DHPP
booster and be microchipped then he'll be ready to go!! "Pumba" is a big boned solid
guy. He
is on the 1/4 diet just to take a couple pounds off so he can have a waist line and
look
smoking hot in his speedo this summer!!
If you think "Pumba" is the right Pug for you, please fill out an Adoption
Application and
put his name and PRN#263 on it. If your unable to adopt at this time, consider
becoming a
"Sponsor" for Pumba. This is Senior Head Anchor "Johnnie Be Good" off to wonder why
so many
Seniors are being surrendered to rescue.......
