Calling the Pug Rescue Network

When you call the Pug Rescue Network, your call is answered by a Volunteer that has donated their time and effort to help the Pugs in need.  In an effort to reduce the time spent on the phone describing each Pug, we have created a web site that is updated regularly.  Please be sure to review our website to find the answers you are looking for BEFORE calling us.  This will help us focus on the care of the Pugs in need.  We are not a shelter, but a network of volunteers.

Calling About the Availability or Personality of a Pug - If you are calling the Pug Rescue Network regarding the status of a Pug you saw on our web site, please read the profile for that Pug first as the status is in red lettering under the Pugs name.  Calling to see if they are still available is not necessary as we are reading the same information you have available here.  Personality information is also available online for each of our Pugs.  We update this information as we find out more about each rescued Pug.  All information on our Available Pugs is updated to the minute and is considered current.

If you are interested in adopting a Pug, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application and return it to us by US Mail.  We do not have an online application process.  NOTE:  We do not adopt on a first come - first served basis.  We make every effort to match the Pugs personality to the applicant.  The Pug you are interested in may have other interested applicants.  Status is changed when an approved applicant matches the Pugs profile and an adoption has been scheduled.

Calling About Your Application Status - When you mail your application to us, it normally takes two weeks (but may take up to four weeks) for a preliminary decision to be made. All applications will receive a written approval or denial letter via US Mail once a decision has been made.  If you would like to know if we have received your application, please use the email form located at the bottom of the Contact Page.
